Academies and labs
A dedicated place to deepen your knowledge and skills on a particular subject. Labs are 1/2 day or full day upskilling. Academies last for between 3 - 6 months and include 1:1 sessions.

The Maven Club was set up to create a place to flourish for those working in communication, for entrepreneurs, for CEO’s, for leaders, for managers, for the self-employed, and for lone-workers.

What we do
The Maven Club helps people to grow their ideas, their organisations and themselves in a supportive environment. With access to resources, 1:1 sessions, peer support, expert workshops, labs, and academies, individuals no longer need to work it all out by themselves.
The Maven club is there to inspire, equip, challenge and encourage entrepreneurs and leaders, helping people to focus on the things that matter to them. Although our club is for everyone, we recognise that different stages have different needs.
We therefore create bespoke crews matching people at similar stages or in similar scenarios so that the crew can focus on the things that matter to them. We cap crews at 12 members to allow deeper connections and relevant peer support to happen.
For those wanting to focus on growing skills and knowledge, we have academies and labs that members and visitors can join for a set period across a range of relevant subjects. Each lab and academy is capped at 8 people giving you a personalised experience.

Join a Crew
Our crew categorisation will place you in either a crew for start-ups, those in the early days, those in leadership, and those leading charities. As well as crews for people working in communication in an organisation, or those who are self-employed. We see everyone as a leader or entrepreneur in their own way, even if they’re not the boss!
Each crew focuses on relevant challenges for their stage in leadership and enterprise.

Maven plus labs and academies
Belonging to a crew, accessing the resources and webinars available to members of The Maven Club, and having 1:1 sessions can all really help to bring focus. However, there are times when we need to focus more specifically on an area of development or learning. This is when joining an academy or lab can make a real difference.
Labs are offered as half-day or full-day (or equivalent) workshops. Academies are offered as 3 - 6 month focused growth programmes, both capped at just eight in a group. Where relevant, each academy or lab is further labelled to recommend who they are suitable for.
